Strixner learned engraving from Dorner in 1799. Employed as a draftsman in 1803 at the Electoral Gallery in Munich. Beginning in 1810, he published the *Oeuvres Lithographiques*. Moved to Stuttgart in 1820. Date: c. 1815 Description: “Crucifixion with the Artist’s Family.” Keywords: 19th century, Figurative, Religious, Germany, Size: Paper: 24.1 cm x 33.4 cm (9.5 x 13.1 in), Image: 16.3 cm x 25.4 cm (6.4 x 10 in) Condition: Good condition. The image is in very good condition. The sheet has sporadic foxing and is slightly discolored in the upper corners due to previous mounting.
