The artwork features a detailed pencil drawing of an alpine landscape. Lush vegetation, consisting of densely overgrown trees and bushes, spreads out in the foreground. A narrow path winds through the scene, flanked on the right by a small stream. In the center of the picture is a farmstead with several buildings, including a church with a striking tower. The background landscape is dominated by majestic mountains whose contours are gently blurred by the haze, creating a great sense of depth. The composition is characterized by fine shading and precise strokes that create a calm, almost poetic atmosphere. Light and shadow are subtly arranged to emphasize the textures of nature.
