[CURIOSA] Raymond RADIGUET - *Les joues en feu*, poems by Monsieur François Bernouard, Paris, 1920 - A very rare first edition of the first published book by Raymond Radiguet, a poet who died at the age of only 20. He is the author of two scandalous novels: *Le Diable au Corps* and *Le Bal du Comte d’Orgel*. This first collection of poetry already foreshadows, in a certain way, the eroticism and certain aspects of sensuality that would be explored in his subsequent novels. It is also the first work fully illustrated by Jean Hugo, the great-grandson of Victor Hugo, who contributed four drawings engraved with a burin. Copy numbered 66, one of 85 printed on Arches laid paper. Paperback in fairly good overall condition, with some foxing and a slightly faded cover, featuring minor imperfections along the cover margins and partial sun fading, none of which are serious.
