2340 - CHARLES & RAY EAMES "Lounge Chair with Ottoman" Designed in 1956. Produced by Vitra. Swivel armchair and matching ottoman. Three-dimensionally molded plywood shells with cherry wood veneer. Removable cushions with black leather upholstery and button tufting. Five-spoke base for the armchair and four-spoke base for the ottoman made of die-cast aluminum with a chrome-plated and black-lacquered finish. The underside of the seat shell bears the original Vitra adhesive label: “Original Eames Lounge Chair / Charles Eames / vitra.” Armchair: Height approx. 84 cm, width approx. 84 cm, depth approx. 85 cm (seat height approx. 38 cm). Ottoman: Height approx. 42 cm, width approx. 66 cm, depth approx. 56 cm. Significant signs of age and wear. The leather on the seat shows more pronounced signs of wear, including surface scuffs, cracks, and color loss in the center. Wooden shells have slight surface scratches and scuffs. Frame shows partial signs of slight oxidation and wear. NOT SUITABLE FOR SHIPPING—PICKUP ONLY!
