The tall, rectangular Plexiglas stele “Osmose” explores the harmonious interplay of two faces, which stylishly merge with one another in the relief of the enclosed metal element. Through the interplay of light, shadow, and refraction within the tinted cast block, the sculpture takes on a fascinating, three-dimensional presence depending on the viewing angle. In good condition for its age. There are some minimal scuffs or small chips in the acrylic glass along the edges, but these do not significantly detract from the overall impression of optical depth and the translucent spatial effect.
