Wicker seat and backrest padded with foam and covered in black leather; tubular chrome-plated metal base. H. 69 - W. 89 - D. 78 cm (Oxidation spots on the base, some scuffs and slight stains) Additional information: An iconic piece of modernist furniture, the Bibendum armchair is distinguished by its generously padded forms, which create a series of stacked cushions. Inspired by the silhouette of Bibendum, the Michelin mascot, Eileen Gray offers a sculptural and humorous interpretation of the design.
