ANONYMOUS Double-sided savonnette pocket watch in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand), with a hinged 18K gold (750 parts per thousand) cover on the dial side decorated with floral engravings, two winged sphinxes, and a blank central cartouche, Silver plated dial, decorated with floral appliqués in the center and around the edge, Roman numeral hour markers in black enamel, hollow-pitted gold hands, small seconds at six o’clock. The hinged calendar cover in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand), engraved in the same manner as the other cover, this time with a cartouche in the center engraved with a soldier’s face in profile; inside, an openwork white enamel dial with a hand indicating the day (in Spanish) and the date. Mechanical movement with manual winding via a pendant, anchor escapement. The watch was in working order at the time of appraisal; however, there is no guarantee of future operation or the condition of the parts. Scratches and slight dents on the case, a few cracks in the enamel, and some marks on the main dial. Comes with an 18K gold chain (750 parts per thousand) approximately 60 cm long.
