Cataloguer's Note: This classic figural estate smoking pipe was manufactured by the renowned American firm Kaufmann Bros. & Bondy (KB&B), the historic precursor to the iconic Kaywoodie line. Produced during the late 19th century to the 1920s, it showcases a two-piece composition featuring an intricately molded black vulcanite stem shaped as a powerful eagle or dragon talon gripping the base.
