Four sheets from the Passion: Man of Sorrows; Christ before Caiaphas; Christ on the Cross; Crucifixion. 4 woodcuts, one old colored, one partly colored. Each approx. 23.6 x 15.9 cm. Circa 1507. b. 34, 9, three not in Bartsch, Hollstein (Baldung) 212, Hollstein (Schäufelein) 718, one without number in Hollstein (NB), Hollstein (Baldung) p. 128. Four illustrations from the series "Speculum Passionis domini nostri Ihesu christi" by Ulrich Pinder, 1507. Excellent impressions with wide and narrow margins, one sheet with a fine margin around the border. Faint signs of age and wear, partly slightly stained, the colored sheet slightly browned, and with mounting remnants along the left margin, further handling marks, otherwise very good overall. From the Pierre Sentuc Collection (Lugt 3608).
