Maglioli, Giovanni Andrea—after after *Christi Humanae Salutis*: Angels with the Tools and Symbols of the Passion. 10 copperplate engravings, including the title page. Each approx. 16.2 x 11.5 cm. "Andreas Vaccarius Formis Romae 1607." Probably uninscribed. A charming suite featuring angels, each presenting the instruments and symbols of the Passion, which, according to the title page, were created based on designs by the Neapolitan engraver Maglioli. The series appears to be unknown in the literature. Excellent to very excellent prints with a very fine border around the plate edge. Only minor signs of age; each pair is mounted on backing paper along the left margin; otherwise flawless and uniformly beautiful. - Please ask for condition reports for the lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
