Dürer, Albrecht The Six Warriors. Copperplate engraving. 13.4 x 14.8 cm. Circa 1495. B. 88, Meder 81 a-b (von e). An absolutely excellent, sharp, and yet concise print, with a fine border around the plate edge at the top, cut into the plate on the right, and a fine to very fine border around the frame at the bottom and on the left. Only slightly stained, with fiber marks in the upper right corner and imperceptible pinholes in the white corner tips at the bottom; very carefully and thinly backed; the overall effect is very beautiful and harmonious. - Please ask for condition reports for the lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
