Dürer, Albrecht The Apostle Simon. Copperplate engraving. 11.6 x 7.4 cm. 1523. B. 49, Meder 49 b (von d). With the scribbles to the right of the sleeve drapery. An absolutely excellent, sharp, and clear print, mostly cut flush with or onto the facet; on the left, it has a very fine knurled edge. Overall, only slightly browned and with marginal foxing at the top; a small pen number in the upper right shows slight show-through; on the reverse, minor mounting and adhesive residues; otherwise, a very well-preserved copy. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
