A 950-thousandths silver jug resting on a pedestal accented with a frieze of water leaves that echoes the body and the spout. The body is engraved with a monogram; the thumb rest is shaped like a ribbed fruit, and the handle is made of blackened wood (very slight chip). Restoration period style, circa 1838–1850.
