FIRST EDITION of one of the major sources on the history of Burgundy, printed by the famous humanist Étienne Dolet. Engraved initial letters; printer’s mark on the title page and on the verso of the last leaf. From the libraries of the Dijon historian Jean Morelet (1589–1679), Lord of Couchey; and of Félyjean, with a handwritten bookplate on the title page.
