This is an original 1851 antique engraved map titled Islands in the Atlantic, published by John Tallis & Company, featuring decorative steel-engraved vignettes of local landscapes and ports drawn and engraved by H. Winkles, with cartography by John Rapkin. Engravers were John Rapkin (map) and Henry Winkles (vignette illustrations). Featured Island Groups & Insets Azores or Western Isles: Shown top-left with an inset vignette view of Fayal.
