A fine spindle pocket watch in an outer case from the workshop of Johann Einberger in Laufen. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals at quarter-hour intervals. Gold-plated hands. Winding through the dial. Gold-plated spindle movement with a three-arm balance wheel beneath an openworked bridge. Case made of 14-karat gold; outer case gold-plated. The case back features an enamel painting depicting two lovers in front of a black vase with gold-foil flowers. In a later case.
