Théodore DECK (1823–1891) Two earthenware vases with a diabolo-shaped body and flared neck on a pedestal. Decorated with flowers and plant motifs in the Iznik style on a white background. Polychrome glazes in red, purple, green, dark blue, and turquoise (minor chipping, wear, and tiny chips in the glaze). Monogrammed on the reverse. Height: 33 and 33.5 cm History: - A vase with a decoration similar to our models is currently held in the collections of the Unterlinden Museum in Colmar (on loan from the Bartholdi Museum to the Unterlinden Museum, inv. no. D-Cér.306). #
