II, pp. 160–161). Second edition (orig.: 1734) of this famous work, which was reprinted until 1784. Complete with all 16 unnumbered fold-out plates, including 1 frontispiece (dated 1734), captioned in French and Dutch. Ref. Body 32. - STCN. Formerly owned by J. Vancraenal (?) (handwritten note on the title pages with the curious remark “stupid”).
