Collection of sketches and drawings by Lucienne Pageot-Rousseaux (1899–1994), a specialist in ballet and dance subjects, notably depicting the American dancer Rosella Hightower in “Variations on Brahms” (1947) and “Piège de Lumière” (1953), Geneviève Mallarmé in “Feuilles d’automne” and “Saint François” [1951], and Dominique Khalfouni in “The Phantom of the Opera” (c. 1980). Also included, by and of the same artist: 1. 33 unsigned, undated, and untitled sketches. Charcoal and graphite on paper, various sizes and conditions. - 2. 2 posters from the exhibition “Danses, from 1920 to 1984,” held in Paris in March 1984.
