1348 - Baroque floor clock “Frantz Zeulenroda,” Germany, 18th century, metal dial with Roman hour indices and Arabic minute indices, and an engraved inscription reading “Frantz Zeulenroda,” the dial mounted on an iron front plate with applied brass decoration featuring symmetrically openwork ornamental motifs, unmarked iron movement plate, striking mechanism for 2 bells, pendulum, 3 weights; the two-part clock case features walnut diamond-pattern marquetry and cast bronze appliqués; the pendulum box is convex on the sides and features a pendulum window made of antique glass; the clock case is topped with a cornice arch; HxWxD: 248/46/34 cm. Not tested for functionality. Old restoration, dry cracks, damaged pendulum suspension, missing section in the beaded decoration.
