Hollstein 130 II / III before the Basan rework . Etching made by Anthonie Waterloo (c. 1609–1690) who ranks among the leading Dutch landscape etchers of the seventeenth century. His prints, characterized by dense forests, picturesque rural scenery, and a sensitive treatment of light and atmosphere, had a lasting influence on later Dutch landscape artists. Dimensions: 29,30 x 24,30 cm Condition: A good dark impression on laid paper of the second state trimmed on the plate mark. Small detect top left corner, otherwise fine.
