Anthony van Dyck - Joannes Snellinx Pictor, etched by Van dyck Description: One of the few etchings of Icones Principum Virorum etched entirely by Van Dyck himself. Portrait of Jan Snellincx, half-length, turned slightly to the right but facing the left; with moustache and goatee, wearing a skullcap, a heavily draped doublet and a sash around his waist, his left hand resting on his abdomen. Etching and engraving. Dimensions: 24,30 x 15,50 cm Condition: Excellent impression on a watermarked laid paper with full plate border and wide margins. A coupole of marginal tears in the outer margins. Overall in a good and clean condition.
