Her head is crowned with stars, while her breasts bear the symbols of the sun and the moon. An eagle stands beside her. On the ground lie books and scientific instruments that assist her in the practice of her art, including a sundial and a compass. The print bears a Latin caption referring to Astronomy and forms part of a seven-part series representing the Seven Liberal Arts. Signed Joan Sadler sculp et excud, M de Vos figura.
