Abraham de Bruyn (1538-1578) Description: Two engravings showing female costumes from Spain, and Germany. Nice old colored plates from Abraham de Bruyn's "Imperii ac Sacerdotii Ornatus, Diversarum item gentium vestitus", published in Cologne in 1578. The first 24 plates showed civic costumes, the other 26 plates showed cleric costumes. Dimensions: 22,80 x 32,20 cm Condition: Very nice oldcoloured engravings with original middle fold, full plate border and margins on watermarked laid paper. Some defects. Literature: Hollstein / Dutch and Flemish etchings, engravings and woodcuts c.1450-1700 (193-241) Medium: Engraving Date: 1578
