Pair of Mid-Century-style side tables. Wood with geometric marquetry decoration and black lacquered accents. In good condition. Measurements: 60 x 60 x 60 cm (each). This pair of side tables stands out for its elaborate marquetry work, which combines different wood tones and grains in visually striking geometric compositions. The circular tops feature an interlocking pattern with hallmarks of contrasting colors, framed by a decorative border and glossy black moldings. Their ornamental style evokes the influence of Art Deco on mid-20th-century furniture design. The structure is characterized by its elegant curved legs, which connect the tabletop to a stepped circular base, incorporating a small lower surface also decorated with marquetry. The combination of sinuous lines, geometric forms, and polished finishes gives the set a striking sculptural presence, while maintaining its functionality as side tables.
