This floor lamp is part of the mid-20th-century interior design revival, characterized by a pursuit of refined forms, structural clarity, and a balance between functionality and aesthetic expression.Its composition combines an ivory-toned cylindrical shade with a slender brass and black stem; the contrast between these materials lends the piece an air of understated elegance. The base, supported by angular brackets, introduces a geometric element that breaks the piece’s strict verticality and reinforces its sculptural presence. In 1950s Spain, modern design began to gain ground in a context marked by the postwar period and the gradual transformation of domestic interiors.
