Sculptural-design bed. One-of-a-kind piece. Wood with a natural finish. Frame with a slatted base and two separate headboards. In good condition, with some scuffs and signs of use. Measurements: 85 x 202 x 230 cm. Fits a 140 cm wide mattress. A distinctive, sculptural bed that stands out for its architectural design and the prominent role of geometry in its structure. Crafted from warm-toned wood, it features a stretcher frame with angular lines supported by sturdy triangular-profile legs, giving the piece a striking visual presence. The headboard incorporates two separate, elevated, and slanted backrests, accompanied by small side surfaces that function as built-in nightstands. Its design combines the boldness of its volumes with the visual lightness of the slatted bed base, creating interesting hallmarks between horizontal planes and slanted elements. The absence of ornamentation and the prominence of the wood’s natural grain reinforce its organic and functional character. The originality of its structural solutions and its unique silhouette bring this piece closer to sculptural designer furniture, where the boundaries between design and architecture blur.
