Lacy's Dramatic Costumes - Georgian Court Dress 1865. This plate is part of a famous costume collection titled Male and Female Costumes, Historical, National and Dramatic compiled by the prominent British actor, theatrical manager and publisher Thomas Hailes Lacy. Published by TH Lacy, 89 Strand, London 1865. The series was highly popular among contemporary acting troupes, theaters, and costume designers to ensure historical accuracy on stage.
