GREECE — The Birth and Baptism of Crown Prince Constantine, 1868, by Albert-Désiré Barre (1818–1878). Obverse: “ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α! ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΚΑΙ ΟΛΓΑ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ.” Side-by-side busts on the right of King George I and Queen Olga, the king bareheaded and the queen wearing a pearl necklace, within a beaded circle. Signed: BARRE. Reverse: “ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ / ΑΩΞΗ' / ΙΟΥΛΙΟΥ ΚΑ' / ΑΥΓΟΥΣΤ ΚΒ'". The Great Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Greece, surmounted by a royal crown and a radiant star, supported by two figures of Heracles; below, a four-line commemorative inscription, the whole enclosed within a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the base and bordered by a beaded circle.
