9033 - Silkscreen print based on a drawing on sturdy paper, exhibition poster *TIMES OF DAY, SEASONS* (1984), for the solo exhibition at Galerie 926 in Hainichen in September and October 1984, signed in lead below the image, dated 84, and numbered 1/10, an extremely rare poster by the well-known Chemnitz artist, who, with the series TAGESZEITEN JAHRESZEITEN, made extensive use for the first time of the stencil printing technique he employed so masterfully; slightly browned; sheet approx. 48 x 36 cm, 1961–66: Studied at the HGB in Leipzig; 1977–82: Member of the CLARA MOSCH artists’ group; 1984: first works on *ECCE HOMO* and *Tageszeiten-Jahreszeiten*; 1986: *ECCE HOMO* series, depictions of the Dance of Death; since 1992: member of the Saxon Academy of Arts and the Free Academy of Arts in Leipzig, 1994: Founding member of the “Art for Chemnitz” Association; 2004: Winner of the Biocity Leipzig sculpture competition; 2006: Art Prize from the Christian Art Foundation in Wittenberg; since 2014: Permanent exhibition at Meissen Cathedral; 2018: First recipient of the Schmidt-Rottluff Prize; 2020: Retrospective exhibition marking his 80th birthday at the Chemnitz Art Collections; 2026: Solo exhibition at City Hall of the 8th Arrondissement in Paris
