18k gold (750 parts per thousand) pocket watch White enamel dial, black railway-style minute track, black-painted Arabic numeral hour markers, gold hour hand. Bezel set with a double row of half-pearls. Buckle with master’s mark IL. Guilloché case back with pink enamel, decorated with a miniature harbor scene on polychrome enamel, surrounded by a double row of half-pearls. Mechanical movement with manual winding via a key, cylindrical pillars, balance cock re-drilled with two screws, rosette for adjusting the rate, fusee and chain system, verge escapement. The watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case and glass, cracks in the dial, missing minute hand, damage to the fusee and chain system, one pearl missing, a few scratches on the painted decoration, missing rosette hand.
