George BOTTINI, painter and engraver (1874–1907). 7 letters (1898), 13 pages, in-12 format (to Kleinmann, his publisher?). The artist is in poor health and needs money: “I’ll come by on Monday with a drawing of a reclining woman... I’ll finish the ‘Bar Achille’ based on a sketch I have, and I’ll do a nude for you... The lack of suitable paper is the only thing preventing me from completing my drawings... CHAMPSAUR is bothering me a lot about his painting, and I regret having taken it on—it’s wasting a lot of my time. I’ve started over on one of the watercolors... Here is the *Bar*; you’ll have the *Nude* on Monday.”
