HENKEL & GROSSE. Pair of gold-plated metal ear clips featuring a stylized bow motif and rounded gadroons. Signed. Grossé was founded in 1907 by Mr. Heinrich Henkel and Mr. Florentin Grossé, also known as Henkel & Grosse. In the 1930s, the company collaborated with fashion houses such as Lanvin and Schiaparelli in Paris, as well as with Harrods in London and Saks in New York. Beginning in 1955, Henkel & Grosse partnered with Christian Dior and held a license for fifty years to produce and distribute Dior jewelry worldwide. At the same time, the company continued to develop its own jewelry lines, notably Grosse Bijoux, which was expanded in the 1960s with the Grosse Sterling and Gold collections. In 2005, the family stepped down from the company, which then became part of the Dior Group. Height: 2.6 cm
