A set of 8 Titounet stories published in the weekly magazine Perlin et Pinpin in 1965; each includes, unless otherwise noted, 2 ink plates (signed “Marie-Mad” on the 2nd plate) and 2 colorization tracings: Titounet and Television / Titounet and His Friend Toufou (unsigned plates, executed by Jeannette Rabiller according to a handwritten note) / Titounet and Faraway Lands / Titounet and the Award Ceremony (unsigned plates, executed by Jeannette Rabiller according to a handwritten note) / Titounet and the Fox Hunt / Titounet and the Return from Vacation / Titounet, Top, and His Bath / Titounet and Perlin’s Game. Included: 1 original plate (23.5 x 15 cm) signed by M. Mad and its coloring tracing. Annotations and date in the margins and on the reverse; a few small stains and marginal tears affecting mainly the tracing sheets; adhesive tape in places. Provenance: the artist’s studio.
