Venturini, Felice. The Mysteries of the Stars Described in This Annual Revolution of the Leap Year. Foligno, Campitelli, 1772. A rare astrological treatise printed in Foligno Venturini, Felice. The Mysteries of the Stars Described in This Annual Revolution of the Leap Year. Foligno, Campitelli, 1772. Sixteenth format (165 x 105 mm); 64 pages. Chalcographic vignette on the title page (woodworm hole on the lower margin of the middle section of the volume). Original paperback binding in rustic-style cardboard (20th-century pen inscriptions on the front cover and endpapers). The predictions are presented in the tradition of the almanacs and lunar calendars that were widely circulated at the time. Of particular interest is the last page, which lists the lottery draws for the Rome and Naples wheels—a curious testament to the intertwining of gambling and practices related to astrology. Rare astrological booklet printed in Foligno
