Diagrams in the text, 43 lithographed plates outside the text (one loose sheet, one stain). Contemporary binding in decorated half-parchment and marbled paper. A fine copy to which the Supplement to Complete the Art of Fencing on Horseback, printed in Naples in 1832 and illustrated with three additional plates, has been added at the end. Interesting and uncommon, the two works are devoted to the practice of fencing on horseback, a discipline linked to the military training of the cavalry.
