1979 YAMAHA 125 DTE No. 112184 French vehicle registration certificate The DT 125 E stands out for its electric starter, a remarkable feature on a two-stroke trail bike of this displacement in the late 1970s. It runs perfectly, and its battery has just been replaced. For reliability reasons, the oil pump for the separate lubrication system has been disconnected, so the motorcycle currently runs on a fuel-air mixture. It can easily be returned to service if the buyer wishes to revert to the original configuration. The motorcycle retains its original engine, whose serial number matches that of the frame. It was purchased by its current owner five years ago, following a complete restoration. It has seen very little use since then, aside from a few rides in the mountains.
