Naval Amphibious Unit Officer M1 Helmet Shell. US M1 helmet shell. Lot number illegible. Fixed bales. Chinstraps are missing. Interior of the shell is heavily oxidized. Approximately 60% of the paint and cork finish remains. Several layers of paint are visible. First Lieutenant rank insignia on the front of the shell, with approximately 70% remaining.
