2002 - M1 Garand short bayonet. Originally shortened from the long model. Complete Bakelite grips. The metal fittings are in perfect condition. Blade is 98% intact in its original color. Manufactured by OL in 1943 with the flaming grenade emblem. Additional “OL” markings on the other side of the blade, though more discreet. Complete scabbard, with its belt attachment hook. 95% of the khaki paint remains. Note: slight wear and patina on the item. Condition I. U.S. M1 Garand Short Bayonet. Originally manufactured as a long bayonet and factory-shortened. Complete Bakelite grip scales. Metal fittings in excellent condition. Complete blade retaining approximately 98% of its original finish. Manufactured by OL in 1943, bearing the flaming grenade ordnance mark. An additional, less prominent OL marking is present on the opposite side of the blade. Complete scabbard with its belt attachment hook. Approximately 95% of the khaki paint remains. Some light wear and age-related patina. Condition I.
