All-steel closed-body version (typically 22 seats), equipped with a 6-cylinder engine. Citroën was founded in 1919 by André Citroën. The brand distinguished itself through modern production methods, establishing itself as an innovative and revolutionary manufacturer. In 1948, the 2CV was launched; in 1955, the DS caused a global sensation with its futuristic design. Later, Citroën continued to innovate. In 1976, the brand became part of the PSA Peugeot-Citroën Group. In 1900, André Citroën discovered herringbone-toothed gears in Poland and developed their production in France. This innovation is the origin of Citroën’s famous emblem.
