709 - Two pieces of Chinese porcelain, 20th century, comprising: a famille verte cup, of deep 'U'-shape, decorated around the exterior with figures in a pavilion setting within a fenced garden with plantain, and a famille rose bowl, the rounded sides rising from a circular foot, decorated with four roundels containing the characters 'fo ri chang ming' (the light of the Buddha eternally shines), encircled by colourful stylised lotus sprays and scrolling leaves, with a six-character Tongzhi mark to base (cup 10.8cm high; bowl 15.5cm diameter) (2) Provenance: The Private Collection of Michael George Kuczynski (1941-2025), Cambridgeshire.
