Rosenthal ceremonial service featuring the Malaysian coat of arms for six people, 33 pieces from the coffee, tea and dinner service for the Malaysian Prime Minister, as well as 13 pieces without the coat of arms; designed by Otto Koch in 1937, green stamp marks from 1995-1997, mostly with the additions ‘classic’ and ‘Property of the Malaysian Government’ as well as control numbers; ‘Aida’ shape with dishwasher-safe ‘Eminence Kobalt’ ceremonial decoration comprising a royal blue glazed band, a narrow etched gold rim with a lily motif, half-gilded handles, hand-painted gold lines, gold threads and gold edges, as well as a small golden vignette of the Malaysian Government, comprising a coffee pot (without coat of arms), a cream jug, a sugar bowl and six place settings, six dinner plates and a serving platter, as well as six dessert bowls (without coat of arms), the six matching soup plates with varying decorative patterns, some pieces with blue staining beneath the mirror-glaze, and one soup plate and one platter showing some scuff marks; otherwise in good condition; H jug 22 cm, height of complete cup 6.5 cm, diameter of plates 15.5 cm, 21 cm and 26 cm respectively, length of platter 32.5 cm; accompanied by a multi-page expert report from 2018 valuing the set at €5,584.
