Art Nouveau centrepiece circa 1900, silver hallmarked 800, crescent moon, crown, maker’s mark Koch & Bergfeld Bremen, model number 41484, Z40641, Z40644, Z40643, distributor’s mark S. Chevalier Nachf., engraved owner’s monogram ‘HW’ in ligature and date ‘14 Jan. 1904’, partially gilded on the inside, comprising a tray, mocha pot, sugar bowl and cream jug, all decorated with a continuous relief pattern of geometrically stylised foliage and fruit, signs of wear, cleaned, max. height 40 cm, total weight approx. 1543 g.
