Colonial infantry buttons; in the right pocket is the manufacturer’s label indicating the date July 10, 1942; a Legion of Honor ribbon attached to the left shoulder. A light khaki cotton shirt of later American manufacture. A pair of American dress pants, size 32x35, with an undated original label. A dress tie. Also included is a pair of dress shoes, with holes in the soles. Includes a naval lieutenant’s dark blue peaked cap with an imitation leather chinstrap, original rank insignia, leather visor and edging, a bullion-embroidered badge, a wicker frame, and a tan leather sweatband detached over half its length. An American dress tunic with naval lieutenant shoulder boards and Fusiliers Marins shoulder titles, colonial infantry buttons, a maker’s label in the right pocket dated July 10, 1942, and a Legion of Honor fourragère on the left shoulder. Also included are a later American-made light khaki shirt, American dress trousers size 32 x 35 with an undated original label, a dress tie, and a later pair of dress shoes with a hole in the sole.
