1290 - Set of kepis. Includes a 1935-model artillery staff kepi, made of dark blue cloth with scarlet piping. It features a wire-wrapped grenade, artillery buttons, a leather visor and band, a narrow leather headband, and an ecru cotton lining. A Model 1935 tirailleur kepi in fine madder-red cloth with a sky-blue headband, original sewn-on lieutenant’s insignia, and a thin, flat, gold-plated chin strap fastened by two smooth gold buttons. Leather visor and rim, a tan leather sweatband, and a gold-colored rayon lining. A kepi from the 4th Dragoon Regiment, with a madder-red cloth crown, a black cloth headband, the number 4 embroidered in silver cannetille, and a thin silver chin strap fastened by two silver buttons. Leather peak and band, thin fawn leather sweatband partially unstitched, brown rayon lining marked “Keplyt Indeformable.” Three kepis: a 1935 Artillery Staff kepi, a 1935 lieutenant’s tirailleur kepi, and a 4th Dragoons kepi. Made of wool, with embroidered insignia and leather peaks and trims; the latter bears a “Keplyt Indeformable” label.
