A Colt Model 1911 A1 (U.S. Army) Caliber .45 Auto, No. 1612003, matching serial numbers. Bright, authentic Colt barrel, 5" long. Seven-round magazine. German proof marks. Manufactured in 1943. Standard two-line inscription. Marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on the right side of the frame. Inspector’s mark “GHD,” acceptance mark “crossed canons.” Barrel and frame bear the “ORION” importer’s stamp. Original dark gray phosphate finish, with hardly any wear marks on the edges. Dark brown plastic grip panels with a fine fish-scale texture. Matching magazine, marked “L” (Little). ATTENTION: NO EXPORT TO THE U.S.!
