An OE.W.F.G. STEYR Model 1886 Kropatschek Caliber 8x56R Krop, No. B37, lock does not match the serial number (H 841). Rough-bore barrel, length 81 cm. Manufactured by “OE.W.F.G. STEYR/1886.” Eight-round tubular magazine. Selector lever for single-shot mode. On the left side of the guide: a crown and “L I” for King Ludwig I of Portugal (1861–1889). Original, thin, mottled bluing. Bolt polished white. Walnut stock with distinct signs of wear; butt plate and cleaning rod partially weathered. Length 132 cm.
