Lange of Wuppertal, recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit. Handwritten card: “Enclosed is a commemorative card for my late brother, Friedrich Christian. September 19, 1943. Dresden.” A photograph of the prince in his later years, circa 1968. Four autographed letters from Prince Christian to Lange. A handwritten thank-you card from his brother, Prince Georg of Saxony (Oct. 21, 1937), and four additional cards from Prince Georg dating from 1936 onward. A memorial card for Prof. Dr. Prince Max, Duke of Saxony (1951). A handwritten card from Elisabeth Helene, the daughter of Albert von Thurn und Taxis and wife of Friedrich Christian (1969). Eight typewritten thank-you letters from the 1950s and 1960s, each bearing Prince Friedrich Christian’s handwritten ink signature. A completely handwritten autograph card by the prince dated September 17, 1964. Numerous autographs, etc. In clear plastic sleeves, in a new ring binder (dimensions 28 x 23 x 4 cm). Signs of wear and age. Prince Friedrich Christian was the second-eldest son of King Friedrich August III, the last King of Saxony, and his wife Luise of Tuscany.
