A kettledrum and banner of the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment “Empress Alexandra of Russia” The kettledrum cover is made of blue and red cloth with white braiding and white wool fringes. The panels feature iridescent embroidered Guard stars and the monogram “A” beneath the Russian crown. The lining is made of burlap, complete with a brown leather fastening strap and four (of six) leather loops (three intact, one torn, two missing). Partially patched kettledrum, repainted with silver plating, with a new drumhead. Inner diameter of the kettledrum: 56 cm; outer diameter: approx. 65 cm; height: approx. 50 cm. Includes a wooden four-legged stand. A rare set of trimmings and kettledrum in a condition requiring restoration. Condition: III–IV
