Reserve soldier’s tankard, Münster Cuirassier Regiment inscribed “In memory of my service with the 1st Esk, Cuirassiers. Regiment von Driesen, Westphalia No. 4, in Münster 1900/03.”, inscribed with the name ‘Resv. Kropp’; on the front, a farewell scene on a railway platform; on the left and right, manoeuvre scenes; base lithophane depicting a farewell scene; tall pewter lid featuring the Imperial Eagle and military trophies; topped by a figure of a cuirassier on horseback with a lance, Handle in the shape of the Imperial Eagle; the lid appears to have been re-soldered at the joint; otherwise in good condition; height max. 26 cm.
